Nosferatu
There was a time when it looked like Harry Styles was going to star in a remake of “Nosferatu.” The singer was set to play the role of Count Orlock in the remake, but scheduling conflicts forced him out. The reason for his sudden dropout, however, is not clear. Although it is possible that Styles had other commitments or declined the project for personal reasons, the news is disappointing nonetheless.
The cast of Nosferatu has been thrown into limbo. Though director Robert Eggers had cast Harry Styles before the film even began shooting, he ultimately walked away from the project, citing scheduling issues. As a result, Anya Taylor-Joy will now star as Hutter, the title character from the 1922 original. In an interview with The New Yorker, Eggers explained that he’d previously cast Taylor-Joy for the role of the Count, but later backed out due to scheduling conflicts.
